Child in rain slicker by @digitaltempest (Digital Tempest)

Where do I even start with this? This is a preliminary sketch, sketched on a piece of notebook paper. The drawing comes from one of my drawing books about Grid drawing, but I wanted to see if I could freehand it. I didn't add much detail to the rain slicker. I was going to, but then I realized I would be transferring this image to drawing paper, so why bother? The weird lines under the eyes and where the eyebrows are suppose to be would have been where I would have shaded (if I had continued the drawing on the notebook paper). I'm hoping to have the final drawing completed in a couple of weeks. All in all, I'm proud of it because I'm still really a beginner. :)
