Bud Gabson, Undisputed Heavyweight Champion from 2001 to 2002. The torch was passed from Roy when he retired to Bud, after Gabson one-sidedly beat Paladin after an unsuccessful comeback (so the title changed hands "linearly").

Bud's reign was short, but he has a well-accomplished resume'. And he isn't out of the big picture as far as title fights go--not by a long shot.
