there’s fanfic that can makes me hate Digimon 02 considerably less and that’s Digimon Adventure 02: the story we never told,
here’s the good things:
-it improves Digimon Adventure 02 a lot as well does good job adapting “Agumon, Gabumon, Piyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, and Gomamon become evil from Digimon Emperor’s Dark Rings” from D3 Digivice games
here’s the bad things:
-Ken Ichijouji’s death, he’s deserve better too
and here’s the meh things:
-Takeru and Hikari still being the only OG Digidestined that become 02 Protagonists, at least this fanfic did them justice, by making Takeru leader of 02 Digidestined team, and Hikari doesn’t lost her psychic gift to bad writing alone, her psychic powers are even got explored here. not to mention 02 Digidestined teams(both younger and older) in this fanfic are more competent than Armed Forces in WWZ Novel as well better written than Sisters of Battle under Matt Ward’s writing. and this fanfic is too similar to original Digimon Adventures with some characters and situation changed
