Ru'tyra
Ru'tyra by @Slaskia (R Beaudoin)

The second of my dragon profile series. I screwed up on the highlighting on the dragon itself and the tall grass didn't come out right, but I like how everything else came out. ~~~ Species Name: Ru'Tyra Habitat: Just about any forest/jungle and sometimes grasslands. Element: Nature Breath Weapon: None Magic Ablities: Very limited shapeshift abilities, usually limited to just one shapeshift form (tiger). Brief Description: The Ru'Tyra are perhaps the most mundane of the dragon species, some say they are barely dragons at all. They are roughly the size of a Bengal Tiger and coloration comes in three varients (from most common to rarest): Orange/red-orange with black stripes and white underside, White with either brown or silver/grey stripes, and Tan with red-brown/brown stripes and white underside. Eye coloration is either silver, some shade of blue, or a gradient mix of silver and blue. Males are slightly larger with a more extensive mane that reaches halfway down the side of the neck. Ru'Tyra are a solitary species, save during the breeding season when temporary family groups form. They are somewhat shy and elusive, prefering to stay hidden until they are sure of an vistors intentions. Ru'Tyra are also very fond of 'pretties', which are mainly precious stones and sometimes interesting looking rocks, and often aquire a decent sized 'hoard' of them over their life, which they keep hidden in their den. Woe to any thief that attempts to steal from them or their friends, for Ru'Tyra despise thieves with a passion and will pursue the theif relentlessly until the stolen items are reclaimed.
