A faerie queen of bees and the queen bee of her hive.

The English queen look wasn't doing it for me like I originally was trying to get. I ended up looking at the queen on playing cards, and Russian icons of the Virgin Mary for inspiration.

Photoshop. I drew this entirely in Photoshop which was... an exercise in patience. I usually do all line art ever in ink.
