The Last Vigil by @benmilh (Ben Milhoan)

An unidentified man in a dark-gray hooded cloak stands alone at sunset while holding a single red rose. He stands for the last time in a period of mourning for that which he has lost. What has he lost? He has lost most of his friends, as well as most of himself. He no longer knows who he is, now that he has lost all but his life. He now has the will to survive, but no longer a reason to. He no longer has any clue what to do with his life.

This is the last piece of artwork of any kind that I will be doing for a long time. I can no longer stand to do it. It reminds me too much of what I’ve lost. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Ben Milhoan
