Young Drae, Mojav huntress and Nu Chaxs warrior by @hollgonz (Holly Gonzalez)

This is Drae, one of the major Loreni characters in Jashi, our SF novel. She's courageous, loyal, mischievious, graceful, and a skilled huntress. She's also a master of Nu Chaxs, a sacred martial arts type discipline that trains warriors to protect the people of Tyr-Nagona. But Drae's temper gets her in trouble too often. She's a Mojav...that is, a Loreni who chooses to live the old, wild lifestyle, nomadic hunter-gatherers, away from the constrains of Loreni society. Mojav females weave these elaborate headresses for themselves, out of grasses and vines, as a symbol of status.
