I was inspired by the amaing book Middlesex, by Jeffrey Eugenides. I had an image of Calliope dancing through my head and I had to get it down. Two class periods later... this is what I had. It didn't turn out how I ideally wanted it, not enough mascalinity (sp?) or preppiness. But, I think I caught the distress in her eyes.
