The Agony of the Witch
The Agony of the Witch by @blackunicorn (Veronica Guzzardi)

I highly reccommend that everybody read Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire. Then this Agony painting of the Witch will make sense.

About the hands- I take no credit for these hands at all. This painting is based directly on the Heinrich Hoffman version of the Agony, but in my research for it I noticed that the hands were always the same in every depiction. That made it absolutely critical that I do them right for it to read properly, and the way they're intertwined doesn't make that easy, so I cheated and did Elphaba's hands here with an overly of Hoffman's hands.
