Scooby Doom: Hydetoad

Okay villain from episode 18 Ghost of Mr. Hyde, is now Hydetoad!

Dex: Hydetoad created by Dr. Jekyll, an alternate evolution for Palpitoad, its a Water/Dark type with the ability Suction Cups.

This was another adventure in trying to redesign, originally was going to make him into an Inteleon, as the villain could climb walls, and my first thought was lizards as I live in the tropic's and we have house geckos.

Inteleon version would easily be able to sneak around and hide in the backseat of the mystery van without notice, but the design just didn't look/feal right, so I tried to make him a Greninja.

Because frogs can also scale walls with their sticky feet, but also a nod to Ghost of Hyde threatening to turn Shaggy into a frog, or at least going to make him 'croak' but that design didn't look right either.

So looking at what frog Pokemon were left, I was stuck with Seismitoad or Politoed as you can see Seismitoad won.

While I had wanted Hyde to be a Pokemon that could stealthily move around and get into places, something about the chunky Seismitoad body just seemed to work better to me with the design.
