His name roughly translates to "Goat of Spirits," but it probably literaly means "Dead Goat" or something like that. I know nothing about Japanese conjugation... Anyways, he's a satyr and has skills in necromancy and swordsmanship. He's a total sexist, which gets him in trouble when he asks for a date, which often comes out as a lewd remark involving his manhood. Check out his sword, isn't it cool and unwieldy!? HUH!?
