this is Dae again.. i forgot to note, the computer that spliced him also programmed a basic knowledge of the elvish language, mostly because then the scientists could make the dragon obey them. after he had maimed/killed several staff scientists they finally brought him down with four or so tranks... they chained him up, and while he was drugged, branded the stripes on his forehead and cheeks. these were the marks of an outcast, one with no home, no place, no race. they brought him before the High Council, where they sentenced him to death. Dae broke his chains and fled, giving (and recieving) several more large injuries. he fled back to the mountains, razing the old laboratory and then choosing to live in the cave the scientists had originally found the bone.
