Drawing Day 2008
Drawing Day 2008 by @lenachan (Edlena Faison)

alittle something I promised for drawing day 2008(june 7th , 2008). I was on break from drawing but saw an ad on a blog about "drawing day" so I decided to do it and here it is. it's kinda "part II" of my recent print Butterfly Queen: Nighami since it has the earth in it again^^ I know her pose is abit weird but it's actually her resting on a plastic earth with her hand on top and arm is hidden behind her hair. and ofcourse she is to the side that's why you only see half of her. sorri for any mistakes though

^^;

36+ layers of artwork 3 days of work sketched offline on sketchbook paper,scanned and inked in painter 8 and finshed in photoshop 7. my art is actually in this one^^ one of my sketches that I have yet to color and also one of my prints. also she is drawn in SD if you wonder why she looks so short^^

Taken from site:

"Drawing Day is a worldwide drawing event encouraging everyone to drop everything and draw for the sake of art. The internet is an open canvas. Help us create 1 million drawings online this day and boost online art communities."
