Once upon a time, around the year 2000, all of my close friends and I were reading Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series. Teen girls that we were, we imagined ourselves as characters within the novels and these images were the result.

Herald Maryha Either she was a Karsite, or she was in love with someone from Karse. More of a warrior than a mage, if I recall correctly.
