OHM Bandit

Unmatched in off-road speed and maneuverability, the OHM Bandit off-road scout is a design of necessity. Though it has four wheels on the ground, it\'s modified steering gear boxes (found in standard OHM street vehicles) boost it\'s turn radius and maneuverability while it\'s small size and large engine make it quick, agile, and able to fit most places even only a two wheeled vehicle can go. The construction of the Bandit began when higher ranking officials of the OHM military realized that they needed an edge against off-road motorcycles and most smugglers who could out maneuver their standard patrol bikes in the more rocky terrain. Surprisingly, the construction of these vehicles is not that apart from the methods smugglers use to construct their own vehicles. Standard engines in most OHM vehicles cannot contend with the fuel burning behemoths that can be found in the scrap yards across the land, but finding one and then upgrading it with OHM technology creates a deadly combination. They are lightly armored to keep their weight down, the front and rear being the most armored sporting Lucite, a light flexible and very bullet proof material. Apart from the rear engine shrouds, the side armor is little more than aluminum and provides no real protection. Each vehicle is the same in construction sporting independent steering and suspension, a classic twin I-beam frame construct, a rear mounted engine, and passenger mounted automatic rifle of any variable caliber. All in all, this vehicle makes a very considerable opponent in an off-road chase and is a force to be reckoned with. In the late years that these have been in production, several people running from OHM forces and patrols have met with an untimely fate.
