Ponkichi Tama
Ponkichi Tama by @SleepyShippo (Sleepy Shippo)

A sketch of a D&D character I created. Haven't used him in play yet, but I'm hoping he'll survive despite being lazy, alcoholic, loud, and annoying.

He's a tanuki (asian raccoon-dog). In Japan, they have the reputation of being shapeshifters and illusionists. They love saké and will turn leaves into fake money to get more booze. There are statues of them in store windows throughout Japan. One thing that most people notice about them right away is the scrotom so huge that it drags on the ground. Tanuki can shrink and enlarge them at will.

In the character development process, one of the jokes i came up with is that if someone ever tells him that he hasn't got the balls to do something, a trap door in the front of his pants will open up and THWUMP! he'll inflate them till they touch the ground. Another joke is that if someone sings a certain tanuki song, he'll answer it, no matter how embarrassing. (it's a call & respond kinda game song)
