[i]Whew[/i]. This picture has been a long time coming. It was a labour of love, and I can only guess how many hours of work it took me. I was able to let go and just work like I haven't managed in quite some time, and not only have I produced something more like I'd like to do with my art - in terms of technical production and detail - but it's a rare instance when I feel like I've actually done something to the best of my ability.

Depicting my favourite characters from one of my all-time favourite video games, this is from the beginning of Final Fantasy VI for Super Nintendo (and all its remakes since), when Locke protects Terra in the Narshe mines.
