Okay before I go into Detail lets Wiki attack.

Anubis (Ancient Greek: Ἄνουβις) is the Greek name[2] for a jackal-headed god associated with mummification and the afterlife in Egyptian mythology. In the ancient Egyptian language, Anubis is known as Inpu, (variously spelled Anup, Anpu, and Ienpw).[3] The oldest known mention of Anubis is in the Old Kingdom pyramid texts, where he is associated with the burial of the Pharaoh.[4] At this time, Anubis was the most important god of the Dead but he was replaced during the Middle Kingdom by Osiris.[5]

He takes names in connection with his funerary role, such as He who is upon his mountain, which underscores his importance as a protector of the deceased and their tombs, and the title He who is in the place of embalming, associating him with the process of mummification.[4] Like many ancient Egyptian deities, Anubis assumes different roles in various contexts, and no public procession in Egypt would be conducted without an Anubis to march at the head.

Anubis' wife is a goddess called Anput, his female aspect, and their daughter is the goddess Kebechet.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in the last book of the New Testament of the Bible, called the Book of Revelation of Saint John the Evangelist at 6:1-8. The chapter tells of a scroll in God's right hand that is sealed with seven seals. Jesus Christ opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons forth the four beasts that ride on white, red, black, and pale horses which each symbolize Conquest, War, Famine, and Death, respectively.[1] The Christian apocalyptic vision is that the four horsemen are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment.

Okay now we've got a little more understanding I'll shall explain why this was done the way it was. Anubis for me wil always be the Lord of the dead much like the Egyptian Grim Reaper. It's just how I've always pictured him However in my story He drives a 4 horse chariot. Why I gave him the four horses of apocalypse was because they are otherworldly and worthy of a god of Death. and I dunno about you but they pimp his ride. I mean I would not want to see this coming my way. These horses of course were not originally my idea, it would have been normal gothic like horses but my brilliant and special Love Luis. He told me why not make it the Four horses from the Bible and it worked out brilliantly. soo thanks love The gothic style I drew the chariot and and horses blame my metalheaded-ness and the fact a whole bunch of Dimmu Borgir came on.
