Shihsung
Shihsung by @Kallper

"When the blessing of Tai called all soldiers in the Painting to rest, most all active warriors laid down their arms, along with their leaders, their drive to fight sealed away with Tai's severed head. But not all soldiers were affected, some had their fates lay elsewhere; Shih, the son of the 1 armed Warlord Sung, was amongst the few spurned from Tai's influence. Shih had always wanted his fathers power, he believed the command of a mighty army was wasted in the hands of such a visionless old fool, and he awaited eagerly for his father's death, as he would inherit ultimate command of the army. When Tai sealed away the soldiers' drive, the remnants of the armies' ranks were fleeting, and so to was the dominion that was so ruthlessly battled over. With no one to seize or enforce ownership of it's regions, the Painting was whole again. Sung, also effected by the blessing, laid down his weapon, and extended his one arm to his son, to join him in rest. But the son was furious, he did not expect this pitiful fate for the strength he had so long desired, his anger lead him to do what he had always desired. Defenseless, and with no will to fight, Sung was cut down by Shih. with this betrayal Shih would become a hexagram. He absorbed the strength of his father, and the ranks of his army, inhabiting their spirits within him, Shih gained the power of 1000 men. The deed done, Shih turned to leave, and use his newfound power to claim sovereignty over the Painting. However, as he turned, Shih felt a force pulling away his weapon, another hand had grasped the handle of his blade. His fathers missing arm had sprouted from his flank. Shih resisted, but his will was being sapped away, as if 1000 voices in his mind called for rest, he was left as the only one who sought destruction. Shih, who then became known as Shihsung, had stolen the power he so selfishly desired, but with it, he sacrificed dominion over his own mind, now shared by the souls of the very soldiers he wished to control. Shihsung's body is now at rest, seated motionlessly, but his stagnant spirit, though drowned out, is still wide awake, awaiting the day Tai's blessing is undone. As Shihsung's reawakening would be an long overdue consequence of Shi Ho and Ku's intentions to do away with Tai's Blessing for good."
