The Mercenaries are the cast of Team Fortress 2 that shows up in Ani-Toonspiracy as some of it's protagonist members, they're also called PUR Team since the reason I makes them PUR team is: they all are composites between RED team and BLU Team(since Red plus Blue equals Purple), and PUR stands for Professional Ultimate Ragtags(for the same way RED stands for Reliable Excavation and Demolition and BLU stands for Builders League Unlimited)

History:

The PUR team first hired by Lex Luthor and his ACME Corporation to fights off the Protagonists of the Ultimate Crossover Movie after they beats ACME forces, but before Lex summons ACME Gigazord, though this never come to even close to fruitition where among many other things, the possibility Sandvich that Heavy Weapon Guy carries turns into Monster during their way to the Ultimate Crossover Movie protagonists as well Lex Luthor's hatred toward, distracting PUR Team from Face to Face with The Ultimate Crossover Movie heroes, not to mention possibility that Lex Luthor can hate both Engineers and Demoman for cybernetic arm and magical sword respectively

Offense class:

1. Scout
   • Name: Jeremy
   • Abilities and equipments: borderline Superhuman speed, Double jump, Invulnerability(only gained from drinking Bonk Atomic punch energy drinks, unlike in canon, he can still fight even in this state), 2-barreled break-action Shotgun, Pistol, Grappling Hook, and Baseball bat
   • Weakness: can't take damages as well as other TF2 mercenaries
   • Bio: Scout are the Fastest, but most frail of the PUR Team where his Role is to scouting around, when joins Spin-off Protagonists, he's fast enough to keep up with Sonic the Hedgehog and Rainbow Dash(though he won't do justice when keeping up with Splendid from Happy Tree Friends since he plays very much like Silver Age Superman), when fights he uses Hit and Run Tactics where once he approaches Anunnaki infantry, he shots them in Point Blank Range with his double barrel Shotgun and runs away before they're strikes back, he also uses Baseball Bat either as melee weapon as well playing baseball with explosives for it's balls, he can uses Bonk Atomic Punch energy drink to become Invulnerable(and in Ani-Toonspiracy he can still fight anyway in this state)

2. Soldier
   • Name: Sergeant Barrister Jane Doe
   • Abilities and equipment: enhanced Pain tolerance, Rocket Launcher, Automatic shotgun, grappling hook, and Power sword(with spade tip to make it resembles his Shovel)
   • Bio: when he went to Europe to kill Nazis, he go there at 1949(4 years since ww2 ended) due to his stupidity, his stupidity makes him friends with Lumpy the Moose, Derpy Hooves, and Big the Cat as well Domon Ishijima, he's recruited by Fuko Kirisawa, and when fights he got Rocket Launcher to blasts enemies from distance as well for Rocket Jumping, he also got Automatic Shotgun for Assault rifle equivalent, and his Shovel are replaced with Power Sword from 40k Universe that can cut through anything regardless their durability
   • Fun Fact: he once blames God&Jesus for being unable to eat crocodiles that Sniper cooks for him
3. Pyro
   • Name: unknown
   • Abilities and Equipment: Flamethrower, Flare gun, Grappling Hook, and Fire axe
   • Weakness: lacks sense of reality, and he can attacks even his teammates
   • Bio: as a prisoner of it's Pyroland, he killed everyone he came across(to the point when Spin-off Protagonists recruits it(as the rest of TF2 mercenaries) they gave it electrified collar that electrocutes it non-lethally(for the most part) everytime it attempts on physically attacking it's teammates). his flamethrower has 2 firing modes: standard and airblast mode, he's recruited by Tokiya Mikagami

Defense Class:

1. Demoman
   • name: Tavish Finnegan DeGroot
   • abilities and equipment: Grenade Launcher(uses Programmable matter warhead tech), Stickybomb Launcher(also use programmable matter warhead tech), and Leprechaun sword(can stole the luck of whoever he hurt with this sword) as well Grappling hook
   • Weakness: short tempered
   • Bio: he's explosive expert of PUR Team with Grenade Launcher(with Programmable Matter warhead tech, can fires different types of grenades(Frag, Antitank, Cryo, Incendiary, and so on)), as well Stickybomb launcher that can detonated remotely, and Magical claymore for melee(makes him luckier with each kills he make, whoever survives his sword are bound to Bad Luck), he's recruited by Isami Hanaoka where she defeats him in a swordfight
   • fun fact: his Magical sword is one of the reason(other reason being Engineer's bionic right hand) ACME won't hire PUR Team due to Lex Luthor's boundless hatred toward anyone that got superpowers from anything other than purely technological external equipments. he's also suffers Autoimmune(that attacks his Liver for his alcoholism)
2. Heavy
   • Name: Mikhail(Misha for short)
   • abilities and equipment: borderline Superhuman Strength and Endurance(not on the level of truly superstrong beings), Handheld Minigun, bolt-action Handheld Railgun, Grappling hook, and Powerfist. also the only TF2 Mercenaries that medic can Ubercharge without any health problems
   • Weakness: slowest TF2 mercenaries
   • Bio: He packs most firepower from his Handheld Minigun(his signature weapon) as well he got Handheld Railgun(to deal with heavily armored targets and it has Massive recoil(since it works much like Real Life railgun) which he can uses it to his advantage just like Soldier's rocket jumping) and for melee, he uses Strength-enhancing powerfists(when not in use, it's looks like bracelet due to it's retraction) with retractable claws, not to mention his Sandvich are replaced with Lebanese Kebab. oh yeah, his hatred toward Capitalism comes to play when it makes PUR team won't hired by ACME. he's recruited by Domon Ishijima
   • fun fact: he has lebanese kebab in place of sandvich
3. Engineer
   • name: Dell Conagher
   • Abilities and Equipments: Shapeshifting Prosthetic right arm known as Gunslinger MK2(concealed with static-proof rubber glove), nail Pistol, and various gadgets as well Genius level IQ
   • Weakness: not as Combat oriented as other mercs
   • Bio: at some point before event in Ani-Toonspiracy, he involved in Accident that leaves his right hand amputated and replaced with Cybernetic arm(that concealed under his rubber glove) that can shapeshifts into following: Tesla Coil(his preferred ranged weapon, works by using his Bioelectric energy), Parabola(for hacking computer systems, albeit inferior to both Adam Jensen's and Koshiro's technopathy), Tractor beam gun(give him Telekinesis, mainly for placing turrets into hard-to-reach places), etc(including even Grappling hook). his gadgets includes Dispenser, Turrets(it's missile launcher reloads with 3d printer tech and has NLOS capability for maximum range), and teleporters as well many others(though many of them are invented with help of those like Tails, Adam Jensen, etc.), he only uses Nail Pistol for last resort, when his Cyber-arm are damaged. took Recca, Domon, Fuko, Mikagami, Koganei, Isami, Toshi, and Soshi together to recruiting him
   • fun fact: used to play Pong with his Gunslinger MK2

Support class:

1. Medic
   • name: Mr Ludwig Humboldt
   • Abilities and equipments: Pneumatic Syringe Driver, Medigun, Bonesaw, and Genius level IQ not to mention grappling hook and Ubercharges
   • Weakness: least combat oriented mercenary and prone to performs malpractice
   • Bio: he(and the rest of PUR team) joins Spin-off protagonist under promise that his new teammates can save people's lives better than he ever will since he has nasty record of malpractice, his medgun's ubercharge are only usable for Heavy(as other TF2 mercenaries are unfit to got ubercharged)
   • Fun Fact: his license is removed few times prior joining Spin-off protagonists, as well he do Liposuctions to use Patient's fat tissues for soup
2. Sniper
   • name: Mick Mundee
   • abilities and equipment: borderline Superhuman Marksmanship, Sniper Rifle, Bows and Arrows, Dual Submachine Guns, and Kukris
   • Weakness: more of an average human than most of PUR Team
   • Bio: he speaks with Australian Accent(since he Australian) where his Hunting Skills makes him expert with Sniper Rifle and Archery, when he's caught in close range, he fought with dual SMGs and Kukris(latter can attached to his bow), he also has trick arrows that including explosive arrow, Grappling hook arrow, and so on. he's recruited by Kaoru Koganei
   • fun fact: his favorite superheroes are Green Arrow and Hawkeye(he met both in person upon his temporary death before Medic resurrects him)
3. Spy
   • name: unknown
   • Abilities and Equipments: Stealth, Disguise skills, Revolver, Sapper, Stun Gun, Cloaking device, and Disguise equipment(aka Makeup kit) plus Grappling hook
   • Weakness: Anunnaki skills can make whatever he does obsolete
   • Bio: When it come to stealth, he's expert of it(though this skill won't do much justice against Ash's Aura Powers, Raven and Hikari's psychic powers, Silver's powers, Spongebob's Super smell, and so on even with his disguise and cloaking device) making he's somewhat useless, he has Stun gun to stealth kills his enemies from behind, Sappers for sabotages enemy machinery, and so on
   • fun fact: many of his new weakness can make even Jarate obsolete
