Painting - Art Class by @mintmage (Kyara Starstrike)

A 'slice of life' (boy did I get tired of hearing that term) painting required to be done for American realism unit in freshman (HS) art.

We were very rushed doing these paintings... and it really shows. The only part of this I actually took a decent amount of time on was the 'roof' of the clock.

And the large gold part below the clock, was actually a reflection on the table, but I thought it was part of the clock. My bad.

And the dark green splotches on the right-hand drawer... I don't know. They're not there in the actual painting. Go figure.

Good for me though, considering paints and me don't get along.

Pencil cartoon and acryllics in about 3 hours MAX for the painting, sigh. Stupid school... and the rush wasn't even because of the budget... all OTHER freshman classes had had the same amount of time.

Ok enough complaining.
