Zebra Stripe Rug 1 by @Roadstripe (CyberCorn Entropic)

In the darkest parts of Africa, where the craftiest creatures thrive, Yarny's Zebra can be commonly found by an intrepid crocheter. Vulnerable only to small, handheld hooks, these small equines are difficult to catch, but their skins make excellent rugs.

Over the past few weeks, when I couldn't work on the computer or other projects, I crocheted this rug from a Patons Yarn pattern published in the October 1997 issue of Crochet Fantasy. It measures 21.5" wide by 26" tall (not counting tail), so it's a small zebra.

This is my first large scale crochet project in which I used doubled strands of worsted weight yarn and at some points was juggling 6 different balls of yarn. Now, I'm going to hang it somewhere.
