... this is old too. I watched Ghost in the Shell a while back, and couldn't make sense of it ... this dude lent me the collected manga, and I read that, and suddenly the whole movie made sense. Basically, as I see it, they tried to cram an entire series of comics plot into an hour and a half of anime. It looked pretty, but made no sense. In any case, Masamune Shirow has some fantastic mechanical designs ... there is no way I am EVER going to be as good as him. But I got inspired, and the result lies before you.
