Sakura and Kero

Trying for a balance between anime and realism here, and so far not quite getting it. Some facial and spatial issues, as you can see (what up with her nose?). But I like Kero. Suggestions for refinement are welcome.

It's colored pencil, acrylic, and ink on embossed scrapbook paper.
