Nicole Then & Now by @HelgaGP (Jenny Thiel)

The one on the left is the first drawing I did of my sister Nicole (March 25, 2002). The one on the right is the latest pic of her (June 27, 2004). I tried to draw her in a sorta mix of Jhonen Vasquez style and my own but it turned out horribly. I then thought: "If drawing her in the style of a show/comics she dislikes very much, maybe she'll be drawable in a style of a show she DOES like." (not with those exact words) So I then drew her in a more Butch Hartman 'Danny Phantom' style. And Presto! I drew a pic of my little sis that doesn't make me sick. (I mean my drawing would make me sick, not a pic of Nicole... DON'T HURT ME NICOLE!)
