Artcrap: Studies Of My Psyraps
Artcrap: Studies Of My Psyraps by @MyFurryMind

Had an itch to make some quick studies of a character that I adopted from PsyrapMafia (also one of my supporters, thank you!), Keen Decay, and my very old Yez (now called Psychoraptor) character named Rai.

While I made a big turn to design Rai in a whole new way, I am STILL trying to figure out a pattern design that doesn't mimic too much of the character that inspired me to pick from. I decided to create a design that pays tribute to Talon's design from Primal Rage while picking the reds from the old Yez designs. I used to love choosing that character as a fighter, hehe; he was fast and agile! In a way, it perfectly matches the youthful and energetic traits that Rai has! Gonna still play around with some of the colors and patterns.

And for Keen Decay, I wanted to just get him drawn up in my style (the same was for Rai, as you noticed he has a small snout, hehe). Through some careful reading and observation of the visuals from the guide PsyrapMafia made for the species, I was able to create distinctions of his design in the way I wanted to. Poor guy is old, cranky, wrinkly, doing drugs, and other facts that has yet to be developed, hehe.

Anyway, I will be looking to get one more character I have in mind drawn up before making my own little lineup of psyraps. For now, enjoy!
