My Ghosts Are Gaining On Me by @Lucky_Ladybug66 (Daisy Hunt)

I must say, I am so proud of both Gin's and Akemi's hair here. ^^ I've been fiddling with this picture since the date printed on it, mostly with the background stuff. I redid the whole thing there, and then added the sidewalk and the tree.

Long story short, in my timeline Gin and Akemi were childhood friends, and when he had to kill her, he rationalized that it was the only way to get her out of the Organization. This picture is based on a fic I did called My Ghosts Are Gaining On Me, in which Gin is hit by a car and killed, and ends up meeting Akemi, after an unsettling experience where he's attacked by some of the people he has killed. Gin is told that he was not supposed to die, and he goes back, after Akemi tells him that she has finally forgiven him for killing her. ^^

You can see the YGO influence in the way I drew Akemi's eyes. Gin's I tried to keep closer to the shape on the show, with the exception of giving him more defined pupils and irises. XD
