Walk in the Park
Walk in the Park by @chirdecr (Chiranka De Croos)

I like this pic. I think it's quite cute. However, I wish I had a larger scanner...the original picture is 11X14 and my scanner only scans at about 8.5 X 11. So sad, ne? I'm glad to see I'm improving greatly. Abby-san was right, my pics are much better now than about a year ago. ^-^ The basket of flowers came out really nice. ^-^ I thought it would be a pain to ink, but it wasn't, surprisingly. The tree came out alright; I forgot that I draw trees the same way I did since kindergarten. Lily's eyes are quite lovely, possibly because I overdid her eyelashes. Her chest is slightly too low and uneven, but it's too late to worry about now. The shading is my newer technique of...just leaving the tops of each clump of hair uncolored. Perhaps I'll go back to my original way of shading later (kind of Escaflowne/Sailormoonish). Her legs are cut off in this scan, but that's okay, because I can't stand drawing feet. Maybe I'll find someone who can put together pieces of a picture decently. That would be nice.
