The two pieces of a soul. The Yin, the darkness. The demon sonic, having slaughtered all those "Sonic" loved now looks upon his work with pleasure and accomplishment. It's wing is torn from the battle, but it feels no pain.. it watches the only remaining Freedom Fighter whos still alive -- it watches Miles, reach out to his beloved aunt Sally, her body torn to pieces; her loving computer friend Nicole; destroyed beyond repair. He reaches for her, tears falling from his closing eyes... He never makes it, with a swift rake of it's claws, and a soft cry of pain, Miles life is ended by the demon.

It is alone. It has won.
