Were-form Trial
Were-form Trial by @jdorea (James O'Rear)

He was always a werehare, but I never drew his human form much.

Left: I figured I should simply make him an incubus whose inhuman form just happened to look lapine. Taking a cue from Norse mythology, there are 9 realms in his canon and each one is occupied by an elven race and the Crimson Elves (prototype name) inhabit the Realm of Fire, which inspired man's concept of "Hell" and devils. Many of the Realm of Fire's denizens are mammalian evolved (Beastkin) so the Crimson Elves adopted animal forms as well.

Right: The more conventional human-based incubus form. Either way, he's not so much a werehare as an Otherkin with a Beastkin form.

No one seemed to like either idea so it was largely scrapped (it also failed to explain his larger hands/feet), but I did keep (and eventually expand) the concept of the Crimson Elves.
