A shadow of the past... by @Shazi (Sharon M)
I had this image in my head whilst thinking about an old fiction planned to be written as well as my other stories called: Dingo Denile, and the song 'Wrestle with the Devil' from the Whistle down the Wind soundtrack. It was of Cody huddled in the corners of one of the Cortex Castle's many dark dreary corners absolutely mortified by seeing a shadow of his former self: Dingodile. Of course in this story me and my good pal Danni B planned together of Danni Dingo's tragic friend being brought back to his original self by means of a twisted plot made from Cortex to get the dingo to fool our Bandicoot heroes once more. The tragic twist is, not even Cody knows of the plan being that he is now back to his former state and wishes to find his soulmate Danni. The only thing bringing him closer to the dark truth are the weird nightmares and hallusinations he's been having of his terrible alter ego. Did Cortex really set him free after confessing he had no use for him anymore? Can he live his old life once again and get rid of the evil that's still hidden within him? How is it so easy he can be free? But the most important question...Will Danni ever accept him as his old self? After what he did (and he remembers) as the brutal Dingodile. Whose to say? I guess I'd better get down to writing up that fic sometime too. ;)Anyway, I haven't finished the picture, only what I did here was charcoal it by computer. It sort of blurred out Cody but then you'll be seeing the full picture plus song lyrics in another image real soon. I wanted to add this one in my archive because I just love how the effect I made on Dingodile's shadow made him look so twisted. I hope you enjoy it too. ;)
