Super Awesome Birthday!
Super Awesome Birthday! by @kidkourage (KidK Mirai)

It's Mike-the-Brother's birthday!! =D C'mon, everybody join with me in an embarrassing rendition of the birthday song. =B 'You look like a monkey...and you smell like one toooooooo...'

All right, now, let's see...about this birthday pic... Well, I already threatened anime songpics for friends' birthdays, so here ya go! This do be the amazing magical dude Mike-the-Awesome, the sparkly fighter for love and justice, and his secret alter ego, Mike-the-Brother. ^.^ Guess which is which. XD;; Mike has a new haircut since last time I did him a piccy...yep, it's more combed back like his student self in this composition. But ah figured, no matter what he'd look the same after his transformation, so I left Mike-the-Awesome's hair the same (watch me rationalize how I could not for the life of me get a hat onto that new poofy look of his X.x). The song is 'Moonbeam' by Men Without Hats, and that is an in-joke between Mike and I. See, a while ago we were listening to the MWH CD and found that song, and it was so incredibly happy and techno and full of synths that Mike declared 'That is SO our magical theme song. The lyrics make no sense and have nothing to do with anything...but neither does ANY magical theme song, so there you go!' So I put it in the pic. ^-^;

Oh! Oh! And the other cool thing about the background is that it is my first foray into using the wonder of texture. Ooooo...@.@ The red is from a weirdly painted wall in my den, the orange is our wallpaper, the yellow is the tile around my fireplace, the blue is from the seat of a wicker chair, the green is from the stone wall in our washroom, and the purple is from a lampshade. =B It was fun to jump around the den and scratch on things when nooooo one was hoooooome... Mike is so colorful. He deserved a warped, insanely random background. u.u

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIKE!!! I LOVE YOU!!! =D
