Fire and Ice by @wtFOOK (Lian Liu)

Some say the world will end in fire; Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To know that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

though the painting isn't actually inspired by the poem i thought it was a suitable for the title and the mood or what not. the first version i did of this i tried to paint with acrylic but it was a UTTER FAILURE so i tried again and then inked it. then i intended on just adding red for a blood affect but i just kept adding more and more until you see what i have here. i used watercolor instead of acrylic. tell me the truth, do you think the girl's skin is just a LITTLE too pasty? i don't know.... i wanted it to be kinda grayish and cold but... i personally like the explosion coming out of the left wing. it reminds me of SPLURGING. hehehe. i also touched it up a bit with photoshop.
