Hobbit of the Shire, cousin of Meriadoc Brandybuck, close friend of the family of Cutie-Pie hobbit, and love of Frodo Baggins. Anya was considered one of the most beautiful hobbits in the Shire during her time. In 3001 of the Third Age, Anya mysteriously disappeared and was considered dead in the Shire after her home was set aflame and her family killed by the Ringwraiths, whom were searching for the One Ring. However, she was discovered and rescued by the Elven Princess Faewyn* and brought to Rivendell where she stayed until the Ring Bearer arrived bringing the One Ring. Frodo and Anya were reunited and Anya became a member of the Fellowship of the Ring and journeyed with Frodo and Samwise until the One Ring was destroyed in Mordor. After the War of the Ring, Anya returned to the Shire, and contrary to popular belief, married Frodo Baggins. After her death, she was remembered by the hobbits as the most beautiful and kind hobbit of all Middle Earth and was renamed by the Elves as Euranne* Menelea*.
