The captain of the Imperial Star Destroyer Temptress, and one of my few human original characters. Originally he was a human version of Spitzohr in an Imperial uniform, but I decided to make him a separate, original character. He retains Spitzohr's pointed ears, but I explain this as being a genetic trait in Zeckthur's family. He hails from a core world, and served as the Temptress' first officer until his predecessor made a fatal mistake and was removed from command. He rules his Star Destroyer with an iron fist and his crew live in fear of him. Aboard the Temptress he punishes and humiliates his men for displeasing him in the least way, for the simple reason that it excites him, and his treatment of captive Rebels is no less brutal. Zeckthur is a loyal citizen of the Empire and firmly supports the Imperial doctrine, but only insofar as it allows him to act out his sadistic homosexual fantasies. Consequently, he is disliked by his fellow naval captains and viewed as both insane and perverted, however his success rate of crushing Rebel activity in his Outer Rim sector has ensured that his abilities at counter-insurgency are never questioned. Despite his aggressiveness, Zeckthur is a coward at heart, and without his ship and crew is not a very effective fighter. His weapon of choice is a non-lethal electrified stun baton which he keeps in a custom holster and uses to torture captured Rebels and sometimes his own crew for his own pleasure.
