Amaya is taken away by Sesshoumaru as bait for a demon (wiht a fettish for Kitsune women) who has kidnapped Rin.  Sesshoumaru doesn't tell Amaya why, but soon she learns his reason for takeing her, and her feisty smart-ass nature towards him cools down a bit, they get to know eachother, and become COMPAINIONS.
 After Rin is saved, Sesshoumaru saves Amaya from the Youkai that had kidnapped Rin. They say thier thanks and appologies, then go their seperate ways, only to meet-up again a few years and a couple of months later (surpriseingly on the 2nd year anivarsary of thier meeting).
 Another battle begins, the two fight it out together. Seshoumaru thinks that Amaya is dead, and tries to use Tenseiga to bring her back, but it doesn't work(he tries three times). Sesshoumaru's icy emotional barrier is then broken, as he falls to his knees by her side, and lightly sobs, his tears reviveing her.
 Amaya says one of her 'smart' remarks, intending to make them both laugh, but then Sesshoumaru kissed her, and it's then that thier love begins.
