Over October, I decided I’d combine fifteen one-word prompts, then set out to design a character based on one of the prompts every other day. I just finished the last design earlier today.

Honestly, I don’t even know if I’d use all of them; some are detailed/stylized enough I’m afraid they’ll seem out of place compared to an older design. But it’s still 14 (I already used one) designs for the next time I’m making a new character and there’s definitely some room for adjustments. I found I didn’t have as much trouble designing off of a prompt as I did designing off of a moodboard and definitely better than without anything. I almost want to do it more often—to have 15 prompts to design from every month, but I don’t know of a good generator. Any ideas?

That’s my rambling for now. If I remember, I’ll put something up for Halloween, and maybe in a week or two I’ll upload some smaller pieces for a project I’m working on…
