Aki. The Devil Cat. My mascot. Once named Akkineko (from the Japanese neko-->cat and akki-->devil), Aki evolved from my first major persona: a calico cat called both Chibineko and Citty (hard k sound). Aki came about when I drew Citty one day, and then proceeded to give her a devil’s tail, horns, and draconic wings, for no big reason at all. Perhaps to be a mascot for my email address. A change in colour scheme resulted (making her calico colours more demonic), and proceeding evolutions left me with Aki’s current incarnation.

She stuck, booted her old Citty-self out the window, and has established her territory among my many personas as the dominant one.

As my mascot, Aki can be spotted in almost every RPG I am a member of, in some sort of form. In Saga Wolf’s Realm of Chyniaa, she can be found as Akineko Keila’kan, the half-liberated daemon beast. In Sarah Bosma’s The Color Spyral, she exists as Akineko, the tetra-breed Protector. In Psycrowe’s FDRP, she was Aki, the Khoal-raised red draekard.

She's spunky and devious, and extremely mercurial-- she's just as quick to smile as she is to rip out throats. Supposedly she works for 'evil', though she's been known to hinder 'her' side as much as help it. Her expression is almost always sly, and her smirk is her trademark. Her biggest drive in life is to have fun, although sometimes at the expense of others.
