Mizu is a relatively young cat youkai - no older than 100 - who spent several years in the Ningenkai, and, having absorbed much on ningen beleifs and cukture, has sworn never to kill another living creature. When she returned to Makai, she found work as a healer, but eventually grew bored and began wandering. She befreinded a warlike kitsune by the name of...well...Kitsune, and they became traveling companions. However, they eventually parted ways, but she wasn't alone for long - our favorite lightning demon DIDN'T die, after all, but he was badly wounded...and...well...you can probably guess what happend from there.

Mizu was originally created as a character for a fanfiction about a little blue-haired girl named Mimi who wreaks havoc on Ningenkai, and was used as Touya's girlfriend and future wife in another fic after my friend and I dumped the idea. I eventually decided that Suzaku was the sexiest bishounen alive, so Mizu, who had degraded into nothing more than an alias, was revamped and brought back. She's pretty much a Mary-Sue (Though I'm trying to fix that...) but, hey, a girl can have her fantasies, right?
