Originally from a small town in Kentucky, Callie felt her dreams were too big for the limited thinking of the people she grew up with, and as soon as she was 18 years old, she hitchhiked to New York with a few personal belongings and her electric blue Fender Bass guitar. Upon arriving in a gas station just beyond the city limits, Calliope met Casey Jones, whom agreed to put her up for a few nights until she could get her own place and a job. Calliope, though armed with a fake I.D. and plenty of enthusiasm, wasn't fooling most people. She managed to land a waitressing job at a small club, but remained crashing on Casey's couch as it didn't seem to bother him and it was far easier for her, who had no other friends in the city. Not to mention the subtle sparks that flew between them whenever they were together. However, Casey's violent habits as a vigilante soon caught up with him, and Calliope discovered just what it was he did when he went out at nights. She found it oddly heroic, and the mutual lure between the two strengthened until, recklessly, they both accepted its presence and pitched into a relationship.
So far, neitehr has regretted their decision, and Calliope has.. ahem.. moved from the couch to the bedroom in Casey's Apartment ^_~
