This queer little creature, only seen once or twice on occasion by various humans, was created as a unique, dragon-like fish-android in a science lab on a hidden island somewhere on Silver Ocean. Mistaken for a wild fish, Namazu was released into the wild, perfectly compatible with his new habitat in the massive sea. He soon made his way up a river to Chrome Town, a lonely little village at the far north end of Fortuno, a small annexed state of land about half the size of Kanto. This is where he meets Aaron-tachi and befriends them, and being able to exist both in water and on land, he happily joins the group as Aaron's "pet", of sorts.
