Ina is the daughter of a feudal japan warlord who controls a small portion of land and rules it justly and fairly. When ina is abruptly told by a servant that her parents have arranged a marriage with one of the Wataro warlord's sons to finalize a peace treaty, the head strong Ina decides to run away. Unfortunately she doesn't think ahead much on her decision and quickly finds herself in a whole lot of trouble. Luckily she meets up with the travelling samurai Yori Wataro, not realizing he's the person she's supposed to marry, and a blind Chinese buddhist priest, Cho Teko.
