Cho was born without the use of his eyes, but his body compensated with almost superhuman hearing. abandoned as an infant at a buddhist monestary, he grew up learning the ways of buddhism, believing in peace and equality of all living creatures. at the age of eighteen Cho left his monestary to do missionarie work, but accidentally attracted the notice of a mysterious cult that believes in a prophecy stating that Cho will bring about the downfall of Eastern culture. In Cho's haste to escape the cult, he accidentally found himself in Japan, which is where the cult's prophecy dictates he will bring about the downfall of easter culture. Cho teamed up with Ina and Yori after saving them from an attack by some ninjas hired by Yori's father.
