He is the son of Tails the Fox and a cat named Cassie, Puriasn (Her maiden name) Prower. His grandfather, Leo, on his mothers side, is a feirce Lion who was an expert in White Tiger Kung-fu. Leo took Ade to train under the four masters of the arts, at the age of three. With the skills he learned from the masters as well as his streingh and agility, he was a prize candidate for the "Badnick hunters" led by Manic: Son of Sonic the Hedgehog. As their fathers where close freinds, Manic relied on Ade, who was then codenamed "Prowl"

Prowl is generally a nice guy but can be a little quick to anger, and has an ego that won't let him give up eaisly. On A lot of his missions he meets up with Lara-su (Knuckles daughter) and they have a good working relationship. Despite the fact that Lara's five years older than him.

Prowl's many battle techniques give him an edge against the left over badnicks from Robotniks reign, as well as having the cunning of a Fox, The Agility of a Cat, and The Streingh of a Lion.
