During a conversation about "Mary Sues" in the Harry Potter fandom, my friends and I decided to make our own Mary Sues. My creation was Bob the Pro-Gender-Equality Veela, leader of the Veela suffrage movement (contains 3 members), and one of the only male Veela in existence. Charismatic, handsome, slightly daft, and mildly bisexual, Bob currently attends Hogwarts, like all good Mary Sues. His best friend is my partner-in-crime Tanja's original character, Procent Hydronium-Vainamoinen. Bob was named for Craftsman spokesperson and tool-afficionado Bob Vila.
