Aha! I traced back his family a little bit, and I made him slightly peacemaker through his great grandfather. Now..obviously, his great grandfather Cale married a death Irken (Ayete), and together they had Lieutenant Zei, Zei's grandfather. Lieteuant Zei later belongs to only the death Irkens (because he doesn't like his father at all), and with his wife Dayce, they had Niaka. And, since Lieutenant Zei works for Ziera's father Lord of Death Irkens, Ziera and Niaka had an arranged marriage (don't worry. They fall in love later, and all that stuff), and together, they have Zei and his little brother Quale.

So, Zei's mostly death Irken, but the peacemaker blood's still in him. He acts like a death Irken so, in his opinion, he's not peacemaker at all...well...that explanation's alright...^^; I think. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Samantha Nowinski
