Bowfishin'
Bowfishin' by @Crash (Charlie Stadele)

A couple characters o' mine, bowfishing for Marlins off the bow of the Athos.

I drew this last summer when I was on my nautical kick. Let me tell you....I can barely backgrounds, so ships in the foreground are downright tortuous. Even besides that, the perspective is a little off, and I really didn't mean for the girl's face to look quiet as it did. Regardless, I'm proud to have actually finished the piece at all.

And yeah, the ship is named after one of the three musketeers.

I really love pics that tell stories--this one sure does! I love the female's expression. She looks like she's saying "You know you're not gonna hit anything" while he seems to be concentrating and trying his hardest to prove her wrong. Nice ship and coloring--I think it was worth the hard work to draw the ship--it looks really awesome!
