Kyou or Kyo... from Fruits Basket

YAY! Finally a Kyo picture. ^^ He's my favorite character from Fruits Basket. laughs

I first started drawing this while I was at my friend's house. (Around Jan 5th) and I just finished it today. ^^ Actually most of the picture was already completed... I just needed to finish the floor and his shoes. ^^

Anyway, this picture is sort of a combination between the manga Kyo and the anime. The shirt is from the thrid volume of the manga and the pants are the ones he always wears in both the manga and the anime. As for his hair and skin... I just tried to get somewhere in between what the manga Kyo and the anime Kyo looked like. ^^

Okay now onto other things.... The background was a pain... Is there ever a time where I don't say that? Well anyway I had to continually reshade it so that is was as dark as it is now. I was really happy with the way the sky came out though. I was worried the blue might make it look like the ocean was in the sky.

I really like the folds and coloring! The amount of folds used in his shirt make is look realistic. I also like the stretched folds on his left leg. Very well done. Wonderful picture all around! Your blending of Crayola colored pencils rock.
