Hey I can't belive ur art teacher would say something like that! That's horrible. U have alot of talent and u shouldn't throw it away cuz of other's opions. If you like it and u like to draw continue with it and you'll only improve. I got out of art class personally becuz of the type of projects we did. they didn't help me. Maybe there not helping u. But ur art teacher is mistaken. U have great talent and great art. This is also my first time on Side 7. I think it's a great site 2 meet new ppl and see others drwings. Dude. That's just not right. Personally, I think your drawing is kewl. You did a really great job on the face especially. Maybe you just need to off the OTHER people.

Other people suck. Don't let them get you down, or keep you from doing something that makes you feel good about yourself. Cause YOU'RE the one that has to live with yourself, no one else. They can all go to hell if they don't like who you are or what you do, and in the end, their opinion matters as much as flushed shit.

Don't give it up, dude. Maybe drawing isn't even your dream, but giving it up because of something someone else says to you... so much is wasted.

Let me let you in on a little secret I've been telling everyone who has problems with art teachers: MOST ART TEACHERS SUCK. They only like art when it is EXACTLY in THIER STYLE, and they DON'T like originality at all. These 'art teachers' are mostly hired by public schools who are more concerned with whether their football team has matching underwear than if their history textbooks still mention the Soviet Union as a world power. So don't ever, EVER let them get to you! Because you're not alone, and anyone who says anything that rude to you deserves to have THEIR heart cut out and handed to them!

Dude, in my humble opinion, your so-called "art teacher" is a brainless, insensitive, blind idoit. Don't give up your art because of an idotic Philistine like that. She obviously wouldn't know good art if it jumped up and bit her on the end of the nose. Don't quit; you're too good an artist for that; and don't listen to the words of an idiot; they never know what they're talking about, anyway. And if it's any comfort, this person wouldn't have lasted long at MY school. If she didn't get fired for her demeaning remarks to students (like you), irate parents (like my mom) would have ripped her empty head off for saying such a stupid thing in the first place. Teachers are there to do just that: teach, AND encourage their students. NOT bring them down with such stupid crap as what yours said to you. Keep fighting the good fight, FA. You're good.
