Para Para Parapets? (Karisa's Gift)
Para Para Parapets? (Karisa's Gift) by @ianchas (Ian Chase)

I thought I would get completely newbied in the character exchange this year at the AAF, but to my pleasant surprise I ended up drawing the very talented Karisa Rye as a partner. I added a few little extra flurishes to her costume, but on the whole I was really impressed with Karisa's ability to design costumes. I didn't have time to ink the background before the my deadline ran out though. Until I can get something in color done, I think this should make a good gift. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Ian Chase

I like the mood to this..just...relaxing. Nice pencilwork too, especially on the clothes. Maybe the sky could be blended more (so one would see fewer "strokes" of the pencil there)...but yes. :) I think they'll like it.
